This apartment’s interior was designed for a young couple, who due to the location of the apartment were keen on a pronounced reference to the pre-war vibe of the Żoliborz interiors. In order to satisfy the investors’ needs, we dug deep into many archives to look for old photographs. At the same time we have put an enormous effort into interpreting this space with the intention to a hint of modern vibe. An example of that is the door that separates the living space from the bedroom. Both the maintained detail of the mill and the way lighting was employed make this door an interpretation of the traditional door from the interwar period. The rich employment of glass in turn, makes the space feel bigger and allows light to flow freely between the rooms.
